Supervision is essential for self-reflection, development and growth in professional practice. I am an AHPRA accredited board-approved supervisor, and provide supervision to provisional psychologists completing training in university courses, clinical psychology registrars, counsellors and registered psychologists who wish to have a space to reflect on and discuss their work with clients.
I believe that supervision needs to be a reflective and supportive space where a range of individual professional issues can be addressed in addition to case conceptualisation and treatment approaches for clients. I provide a safe and supportive supervision relationship.
I encourage supervisees with the development of their own professional identity, integrating their training and knowledge with their own approach, personality, and experiences.
